Born in Bristol and spent teenage years in Ireland before embarking on a life of travel and learning, experiencing the peoples and landscapes of South & Central America and of West Africa too. These experiences solidified my belief that nature is a healer and we have the ability to heal both our bodies and our minds through mindful movement.
These travels, along with my varied upbringing, means I am an easy going, open-minded and compassionate person, who is easy to engage with.
Life has taught me how important hope is in bringing more Peace to our lives, so when adversity comes knocking, I try to “Reframe it to Reclaim it”.
In the physical sense that means I practice Pilates every day to strengthen and heal my body. I change (Reframe) my body and it makes me feel strong when I walk, when I lift, when I bend.
I have Reclaimed my body to enable me to do the things I love, like playing with my children, walking, gardening, reading and practicing yoga.
In terms of mental health, I often Reframe a situation in order for me to change my perspective on it, thereby reclaiming it by not allowing my brain to run away with the negative narrative, bringing hope. Bringing Peace.
What all this means is, my passion for learning, doing, growing , healing and helping others, is solidified and shared in Peaceful Path Pilates & Self Care, offering Pilates tuition, and workshops in aromatherapy to heal, meditation & breathwork, Shinrin-Yoku and Stress Tool-Kit.
My goal now is to share with other people the healing and empowering benefits of Pilates, which has truly revolutionised my life. Let me support you in reaching your potential, in the way Pilates has helped me on my Path.
